Les Gets – More than a Ski Resort

Les Gets is renowned not only for its excellent skiing but also for its summer activities and exclusive reputation – the village was once home to even The apartments of François Mitterrand and Princess Diana.

Excellent location for slopes and services:

  • The slopes are only 150 metres away! The nearest lift station and ticket office are about 300 metres away.
  • As part of the Portes du Soleil ski area, you can descend all the way to Italy – with a staggering 150 lifts and well-maintained slopes.
  • The lift capacity is sufficient, so queues are not a problem.
  • The nearest petrol station is conveniently located just 50 metres from the church, which is 100 metres from the apartment.
  • There are also ski schools for children and adults.

Summer activities:

  • Le Grand Paradis is also a great destination for downhill and road cycling! There is even an annual World Cup race for the sport nearby.
  • Enjoy stunning hiking and camping landscapes.
  • An 18-hole golf course in the same village offers a challenge for golfers.

  • Wine delivery direct to your door: through the property management company, you can order wines directly to your apartment. Delivery is possible even on the same day if the order is placed before 4 p.m. Ask for more information when you book!
  • Car rental from Geneva airport: Pay attention to the tolls! The easiest way to pay is in coins or by card.
  • Recommended attractions: visit Annecy (about an hour’s drive), considered one of the most photographed postcard landscapes in the world. Also take a trip to Mont Blanc, accessible by lift to the top.

Rental prices vary depending on the season:

  • December – March: €2200/week
  • April – August: €1800/week
  • September – November: 1550 €/week

Sesongite:

  • High season: Christmas-June
  • Low season: July-November

Please note: Bed linen is included in the rental price.

Location

The village is located at an altitude of 1200 metres. Ski lifts 150m, free ski lift tickets for over 75 years old. Approx. 85 km from Geneva airport, close to Morzine and Avoriaz. There is also a bus service from Geneva airport. Restaurants and shops in the village centre (approx. 200 m). A car is not necessary in the village.

If you rent a car, check carefully whether you should rent from the French or Swiss side. In general, renting from France is cheaper, but renting from Switzerland includes chains, which are a necessity in the region in winter.

A 5-hour drive to the fashion capital of the world; Milan, the city of culture, opera and football!
